Make Meaning
Re-Vive invests in the sustainable transformation of abandoned and contaminated sites. We keep the pressure of scarce open space by investing in a responsible way in our society, causing the urban framework to develop further. Re-Vive Brownfield Fund invests from a triple bottom line approach where values People, Planet and Profit prevail.
“We transform city cancers in fresh and durable surroundings to live.” Nicolas Bearelle, managing director Re-Vive
People
Communities and relationships thrive and are created by the common tissue. Through these relationships, we as a society grow and build a positive future and sustainable prosperity. By building places where these interactions can occur and where groups or individuals can meet and appreciate one another, we can help build a sustainable society.“One creates sustainable value by investing with a long term commitment.” Piet Colruyt, Director Re-Vive Brownfield Fund
Planet
Our sustainable approach is not limited to the remediation of soil and creating pleasant environments. Re-Vive also reduces overall CO2 footprint of its projects by investing in energy-efficient buildings, integration with public transport, the combination of living and working and creating urban neighborhoods with a mix of features. Recycling of demolition materials, reuse of rainwater and reducing waste is always included in the project plans. Additionally, biodiversity is stimulated by maximizing the existing greenery to maintain and strengthen and the use of sustainable materials.
Profit
All resources are scarce, including financial resources. That is why we are careful with them and every decision is weighed against the economic cost efficiency. A solid financial base gives us the freedom to choose and secure our objectives.
“Re-Vive translates into practice socially responsible investing” Jelle Vandendriessche, Project Manager Re-Vive
